Quadrant Economics is pleased to share that our Managing Director, Daniel Flores, will be a featured speaker at the 8th Dispute Resolution in M&A Transactions International Conference, taking place in Warsaw, Poland, on May 21–22, 2026. The conference will be held at the Polish History Museum, located within the Warsaw Citadel.
The event brings together leading practitioners to discuss practical challenges in arbitrating M&A disputes, including issues relating to valuation, damages, advocacy, and decision-making.
Dr. Flores will speak on May 22 on a panel exploring how tribunals assess damages in practice, with a focus on how valuation methods translate into mining businesses. The panel will examine the economic dimension of M&A and investment disputes, including asset-based and cash-flow valuations, reparations frameworks, and emerging regulatory developments, and how economic reasoning shapes outcomes in damages assessments. The session will be moderated by Dr. hab. Beata Gessel-Kalinowska vel Kalisz (ICC Poland President), with insights from Florin Dorobantu (The Brattle Group), Michael Seelhof (BRG), Jessica Resch (Analysis Group), and Dr. Daniel Flores.
